Our socio-political school was established in 1990.
In 2000 the first intake of students - future diploma holders of political science took place. A characteristic feature of our training of a political science student is the breadth of education received and the high level of linguistic competence.
Educational process is organized in such a way that students not only get the tools of political world knowledge, but at the same time they master important practical skills, which are in demand on the labor market. The political science curriculum meets international standards.
The educational process is organized taking into account the fact that in modern conditions a political scientist needs a wide range of professional knowledge and skills. He or she should be able to conduct research activities, which implies participation in scientific events, preparation of publications, including those in a foreign language, and creation of scientific and analytical texts.
A graduate is required to be capable of managerial activities in public authorities, apparatuses of political parties and socio-political associations, local self-government bodies, business structures, and the media. Therefore, he or she will need to be able to organize political and election campaigns, conduct consulting activities.
In practice he or she will be required to skillfully analyze documentary and other sources, the data of sociological research, including in foreign languages. The graduate will have to participate in the development of research programs and projects, in the design of scientific-theoretical developments and political campaigns.
